The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Georgina Milley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Lisa and Bob, your mom was the best neighbour anyone could ever ask for. Always a smile and a chat and many a discussion about our flower gardens. Mrs. Milley loved the sunshine and a fine day to wander around the flowers, check on her raspberries, strawberries and potatoes and tell me about the trees that Your father planted after they built the house. She always had good words to say about her family and grandchildren and she was very proud of all of you. She worried about you all and I think would have loved to have you all under one roof again and never grow up! Mothers are like that. While she never wandered far from home, she kept herself busy with her knitting, I am sure you all have beautiful mitts that she made for you. I know Jim has worn out a number of pairs over the years. Her homemade bread was shared from time to time, and she always dropped over with raspberries from the garden. She always wanted to know how our boys were doing and our grandchildren and she loved to see their ever changing photos.. She was very grateful that Jim looked after her driveway in the winter and was quick to thank him after a snowfall. I will miss her gentle personality and soft spoken voice. I often had to strain to hear her as she looked around the garden. She loved her home and missed your dad so so much after he passed away. Georgina, rest in peace, I know you are happy now that you are reunited with your beloved Frank, and I am sure you are already tending to the flower gardens in heaven. Thank you for being such a wonderful neighbour and friend to me all these years. I feel like I grew up with you. Thank you for your wise words and wisdom., you will be missed on Chamberlain Street!
