BOYCE FREDERICK GEORGE CROUCHER
1950 – 2018

Passed away suddenly on Monday, November 19, 2018, in the place he loved the most – the “Great Outdoors”, Boyce Frederick George Croucher, aged 68 years. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd & Myrtle Croucher, brother Ernest, nephew Marty and niece Julia. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are: his loving wife Netta, son Brenden (Heidi), step-son Daren Dicks (Lisa); daughters Lynette Kimotho (Anthony), Tanya Johnson (Sheldon), step-daughter Kathy Dicks-Peyton (Craig), grandchildren-Anna and Charlie Croucher, Daniel and Ashley Reynolds, Lindsay and Jeremy Peyton, Kaitlyn and Kelsey Dicks and Isiah Kimotho, special nieces Deanna and Martina McNeil-Croucher. Also leaving to mourn sister Vivian Miller (Cyril); brothers-Ford (Helen), Roger (Verna), Jerry (Judy), Gary (Sue), Burneal (Norma) and sister-in-law Carolyn Colbourne. Also a large group of nieces and nephews, wonderful friends and his furry companion Chance. Pastor Lindsey Foster will conduct the service from the Calvary Pentecostal Church in South Brook on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery in South Brook. Pallbearers are Jerry Croucher, Craig Peyton, Anthony Kimotho, Pat Power, Wayne Wellman and Kenny Budgell. Honorary pallbearers are Deanna McNeil-Croucher and Martina McNeil-Croucher.

Sorry to hear about Boyce. Many of my teenage memories that would involve South Brook has this great man in the picture. Always so involved with the youth events, music, etc.

I was in NL this past summer for the first time in a long time, and it was so nice to run into him and speak with him at Tim Hortons. Always pleasant and heartfelt.

Aunt Netta, and family,

It broke my heart to hear the news of Uncle Boyce’s sudden passing. Uncle Boyce has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. From a little girl who would want a smooch, only for me to take off running when he would go to give me one, from Sunday cooked dinners, to junior high and high school bus rides, he was always there. He always encouraged me to be the best I could be and proud of who I was regardless of my accomplishments. Uncle Boyce never failed to ask how I was when I would run into him, how my boys were and how things were going in general. I wish I could be with all of you today as you celebrate the life of a man full of life, smiles and genuine care for everyone he met. Hold onto the lifetime of memories you’ve made, Cherish them, and let them remind you of the love you’ve shared. Lean on one another, and find strength in each other to keep you going. Uncle Boyce was one of a kind and I’m sure gonna miss him! Uncle Boyce, for one final time.. miss me, miss me, now ya gotta kiss me!
