It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ellen Nellie (Butt) Wood announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on October 10, 2018 at the age of 95. Left with fond and loving memories are her son, John Francis, of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and her daughters, Shirley Chipp (Melvin Chipp) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Marie Eastman (Herb Eastman) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Debbie Ella Francis of Scarborough, ON. Also leaving to mourn are her grandchildren Mark, Lisa, Jackie, Elizabeth, Zachary, Darryl, and Anthony, and great-grandchildren Melissa, James, Kane, Cheyenne, Shaelynn, and a circle of relatives and friends. Major Melvin Chipp will conduct the service of remembrance at Central Funeral Homes Chapel in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
