IMOGENE "JEAN" LINDAHL
1931-2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Imogene "Jean" Lindahl announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on November 21, 2018 at the age of 87. Jean was a volunteer at the food bank, the clothing room at church, and was a Eucharistic Minister and a part of the church choir. Jean was a loving homemaker. She is predeceased by her mother, Elsie Cook, father, John Cook, and brother, Lloyd Cook. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband, Carl "Lindy" Lindahl, sons, David Lindahl (Charlene) of Cartersville, Georgia, Keith Lindahl (Dorothy) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Carl Lindahl (Robin) of Orlando, Florida, and daughters, Linda Mackenzie (Hector) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Susan Phillips (Bob) of The Villages, Florida. Also leaving to mourn are her sister, Florence Allen, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Father Joseph Uy will conduct the funeral mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers are Christopher Penton, Darrell Penton, Mark S. Mercer, Keith Jr. Lindahl, Mark J. Mercer, and Keith Sr. Lindahl. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
