Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Evans can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Evans announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale on February 28, 2015 at the age of 85. Dorothy was a member of the Salvation Army Triton Corps. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel, mother Lillian, father Arthur and brother Herman. Left with fond and loving memories is her sons-Paul of Triton, Joseph (Christina) of Robert’s Arm, Wade (Niki) of Pilley’s Island and Donald (Barbara) of Brighton; daughters-Allison (Jamie Hewlett) of Hinton, AB, Christobel (Brian Reid) of Red Deer, AB, and Caitlin (Arvin Payne) of Triton. Also leaving to mourn is her sister Shirley (Otto Roberts), her sweet aunt Naomi, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Majors William & Trixie Kean will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Triton on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Interment will be at the Community Cemetery in Triton. Pallbearers are Wade Evans, Donald Evans, Matthew Evans, Brian Reid, Niki Evans and Caitlin Payne. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
