ALEX WILLIS HEWLETT
1920 – 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alex Willis Hewlett announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on October 17, 2016 at the age of 96. Alex was a member of the local South Brook Fire Dept., Pentecostal Church and Legion Veteran WWII. He retired from Cook (WWII), Theatre/ Taxi Driver/ Store Owner. Alex was predeceased by his wife Ruby; parents, Albert & Cinderella; sons Ralph and Leonard; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Left with fond and loving memories are his sons-Bruce (Bernice) of South Brook, Albert (Sher) of South Brook, Checo of South Brook; daughters-Violet of South Brook, Masie of South Brook and Sandy (daughter-in-law). Also leaving to mourn are 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 sister. Pastor Kerri Northcotte will conduct the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in South Brook on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers are Christine Hewlett, Angela Strickland, Blossom McKay, Checo Hewlett, Todd Hewlett, Nathan Snow and Ricky McKay. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
