LILLIAN PEARL JONES
1924 - 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lillian Pearl Jones announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on August 13, 2017, at the age of 93. Lillian was a member of the Community Church Women of Badger for many years, where she and her family attended church. Predeceased by husband Harvey, parents, Maude and Arthur Squires, sister, Susie, and brother, Don. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters Betty Armstrong (Cyril, deceased), of Badger, grandchildren Paul, Paulette, Michelle, Sean, great grandchildren Daniel, Brandon, Tyler, Ashley, Laura, Ryan, Amanda and great, great granddaughter Delilah and Verna Adams (Gary), of Grand Falls-Windsor, granddaughter Julie, great granddaughter Jane. Also leaving to mourn, her brother, Wallace Squires (Golda), of Embree, and her sisters, Elsie LeDrew and Stella Greenslades, both of Ontario. Verley Roberts will conduct the funeral service at the Badger United Church on Wednesday, August 16th; at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery in Badger. Pallbearers are Paul Armstrong (grandson), Sean Armstrong (grandson), Frank Armstrong, Bert Hayden, Neil Hurley, Everett Adams, and Bruce Pittman (honorary pallbearer). Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
