The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Flossie Newbury can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Velda and Lloyd Hewlett
Condolence: Christine, Donald, Frazer and extended family members

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you lay your precious one to rest in the Lord. Flossie was a beautiful lady whom our children knew all through their growing years. It was always a pleasure to have a conversation with her while living in the Springdale Retirement Centre. I know you all have beautiful memories of her, hold those memories close to your hearts today, tomorrow and always! Take care

Condolence: Thinking of the family at this sad and difficult time. Aunt Flossie will be missed by all those who know and love her.

Love you Aunt Flossie

My Aunt

I thought I saw her face today
In the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say,
"Her work on earth is done."

I thought I heard her voice today
Then laugh her hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say,
"There's peace little one at last."

I thought I felt her touch today
In the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The spirit never dies."

I thought that she had left me
For the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She left you with her love."

I thought that I would miss her
And never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She's with you every day."
