GLEASON MAURNIA JANET OAKE
1935 – 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gleason Maurnia Janet Oake announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on November 12, 2015 at the age of 80. Gleason was a member of the Salvation Army Home League. She was predeceased by her husband, Hayward Oake; son-Roy Oake; parents-Thomas & Minnie Rideout; brothers-Boyce, Raymond, Ford and her sisters Ruth, Betty and Mary. Left with fond and loving memories is her daughters-Eileen (Harold) of Little Bay, June (Gerald) of Alberta, Christine of Elliott Lake, Sherry (Vaden) of Springdale, Wanda (Eugene) of Guelph, Betty Ann (Dan) of Springdale and Denise (Jonathan) of Cambridge, ON. Also leaving to mourn are 14 grandchildren-Roy, Trivina, Crystal Ann, Michelle, Raymona, David, Philip, Trina, Kurt, Janet, Ryan, Corey, Morgan and Mackenzie; 15 great-grandchildren-Reggie, Harlow, Jalen, Kathlyn, Lincoln, Megan, Clayton, Jesselyn, Logan, Brianna, Sarah, Anna, Alec, Parker, Jayla and Jamie; sisters-in-law Alice Rideout and Marie Rideout. Majors Colin and Jacqueline Abbott will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Interment will be at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Springdale. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
