Warren “Eugene” Coles
January 11, 1937-September 12, 2016

Passed away in his sleep after a lengthy illness on Monday morning. Eugene was born in Elliston, T.B. to Joseph and Nellie Coles. At the age of 14, the family moved to Windsor for work. In 1963 he met and married Elizabeth “Betty” Hender, they were married for 53 years. They had three children; Karen, Brian, and Donald Coles. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Nellie Coles; brother-in-law, Rex Davis; father-in-law, Leander Hender. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Betty; daughter, Karen (Paul) Keefe of Bolton, ON; sons, Brian (Nancy) Coles of Grand Falls-Windsor; and Don (Linda) Coles. 5 grandchildren, Noah and Matthew Keefe of Bolton, ON; Katherine Coles of Toronto; Jeffrey (Deanna) Coles of Fort McMurray; and Krista Lee (Justin) Murray of Fort McMurray. Mother-in-law, Clementine Hender of Gambo. Step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Craig) of Tarrant, AB; and Peter Walkins of Newfoundland. Step-great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Nicholas Lush. Sisters, Joan (Jack) Thompson of Nova Scotia; and Leone Davis of Grand Falls-Windsor.

Majors Larry and Judy Goudie will conduct the funeral service at the Park Street, Salvation Army on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. Internment will be at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Caribou Road. Pallbearers are members from the Men's Fellowship; Mike Fournier, Woodrow Janes, and Tom White. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Fund, Park Street.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
