Leo Joseph Fewer
1933-2016
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo Fewer announce his passing at the Carmelite House on April 24, 2016, at the age of 83yrs. He was a long time member of Branch 12, Royal Canadian Legion; lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree; Canadian Forces Decoration; Air Cadet Instructor, Member of Grand Falls District and Labor Council District; he is retired after 45yrs at Abitibi Price. Leo is predeceased by his wife of 58 yrs Sheila, parents Walter & Ellen Fewer, brothers William, Ronald and Walter sisters Margaret, Mary, Genevieve, Regina, Selina and Nell. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons Edward (Peggy) Fewer, Walter, Glen(Shirley)Fewer and daughter Colleen (David) Pinsent, all of Grand Falls-Windsor. Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Leo, Melissa, Brandon, Ilse, Holly and great grandson Logan. Along with many relatives and friends. Father William Hearn will conduct the Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00am with interment the next day on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. Pallbearers are Edward Fewer, Walter Fewer, Glen Fewer, David Pinsent, Ken Powell, and Ron Rose. Honorary Pallbearers are Arthur Griffin, Brandon Fewer.
