Sylvia Menchenton
1917-2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sylvia Menchenton announce her passing at the A.M. Guy Memorial Hospital in Buchans, on July 7, 2017, at the age of 100yrs old. She was a member of the U.C.W., and is predeceased by husband Alfred, daughter Eileen, parents James & Tryfina Beaton. Sylvia leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Lillian (Bruce Moores) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and foster child Judy (Edward Siteman) of Spruce Grove, AB. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren - Brian Moores (Pam), Larry Moores (Sherry), Brad Moores (Laurissa); great grandchildren Emily, Andrea and Brendan Moores; Judy & Edward's children- Sabrina, Crystal (Scott South), Corinne & their great grandchildren Jordan, Katelynn, Harley, Autumn and Levia; along with other relatives and friends. Derek White will conduct the funeral service at the Norris Arm North United Church, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Interment will be at the United Church Cemetery, Norris Arm North. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes. Pallbearers are Bradley Moores, Larry Moores, Brian Moores, John Menchenton, Ron Menchenton and Pleman Menchenton. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Sylvia's name to the Lionel Kelland House
