Condolence From: Marie (Pope) and Frank Dillon's Crew!
Condolence: I know I can speak for all of us as to just how truly a special lady Gert was. We all were so blessed to have Boyd's Cove be a major influence in our lives and a large part of that was Gert and Leo both. I know how much they meant to Mom, Dad, Nanny and Granda ( Mag and Jack Pope). I'm sure they are all together again right now and probably getting ready for a big game of cards. Gert was larger than life and a hugh staple in our lives. I feel very fortunate and grateful that she was in our lives and had such an influence on us. We wish we could be there with you all to help celebrate her life. You all are definitely in our hearts, thoughts and prayers!
Love Marie and Frank's Crew!

Condolence: I would like to extend my condolences to the Pearce family. It's been many years since I have seen Gertrude ( gert ) as we called her in Boyd's cove. But I clearly remember her being very witty, with a great sense of humour! My grandparents ( Frank and Marie Dillon) certainly thought a great deal of her! May she rest in peace.

Condolence: Theresa, Sheila and the rest of the Pearce family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't seen Gertrude (Nan) in many years, but what I do remember was that she was so welcoming to you when you went into her home.
Nice lady and I am sure she will be sadly missed.

Condolence: Our hearts and prayers are with all of the family at this difficult time. I'm away in Ontario right now but Bill will be there to help celebrate her amazing life. She was one of my favorite ladies, funny, interesting and she could really play a great game of cards. The world is a sadder place with her gone but I'm sure she's in a wonderful place, smiling and dancing away. I wish I could be there to hear the wonderful memories that I know each of you must have of her. God Bless.
