Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Etheridge can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

June 24, 1925 – May 2, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jack Etheridge announce his passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Centre in Botwood, NL on May 2, 2015 at the age 89. Jack was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a Veteran of the Royal British Navy. He retired from “The Mill” in Grand Falls-Windsor. Jack was predeceased by his wife, Violet May Etheridge. Left with fond and loving memories is his son, John (Lyn) of Putnam, CT USA and daughter, Cindy (Gord) Hayden of Red Deer, AB. Also leaving to mourn is grandson, Peter (Jennifer Power) King; grandchildren, Anderson (age 14), Madelyn (age 13), Brennan (age 11), Carson and Carter (ages 10), Balsom and Aaron Etheridge both of Putnam, CT.
Father William Hearn will conduct the service at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. Hugh Twomey Centre in Botwood, NL.
