BARBARA PEDERSON (NEE STRONG)
1943 – 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara Pederson (nee Strong) announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on May 12, 2015 at the age of 71. Barbara was predeceased by father James M. Strong and her mother Marjorie Strong. Left with fond and loving memories is her husband Dave Pederson; sons-Richard (Darlene) of Hantsport, NS, Daniel (Paula-Lynn) of Halifax, NS; and daughter Kimberly (Calvin Roberts) of Riverview, NB. Also leaving to mourn are her sister Carolyn Molson; brothers-Bill Strong (Pansy), Ted Strong, Haddon Strong (Marilyn), Gerry Strong (Shari). Left with special memories are her grandchildren Tia, Kira, Danaan, Katie, Melanie, Marceline, Katrina, Austin and Jacob. Emma O’Rourke will conduct the funeral service at Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated in memory of Barbara. A special thank you to Dr. John Campbell, nurses and staff at Ward 3A at CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor for their caring, understanding and support. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
