1958 – 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Chloe Rita Martin announce her passing at the Carmelite Palliative Care Unit in Grand Falls-Windsor on August 18, 2015 at the age of 58. Chloe was a member of the King’s Point Salvation Army Corps. She was predeceased by her parents William & Ruby Martin; sister Edna Butt; parents-in-law George & Rita Robinson; brothers-in-law Manuel Gray and Mervin Robinson and sister-in-law Vera Robinson. Left with fond and loving memories is her spouse of 40 years Bruce Robinson. Also leaving to mourn her passing are her sisters-Viola, Eileen (Lionel Brake), Doreen (Melvin Gray); brothers-Junior (Christine) and Garry; brothers-in-law-Clarence Foster (Delores), Jerry Robinson (Edna Blackler), John Robinson; sisters-in-law-Kathleen Robinson and Colleen Giles; brother-in-law Roy Butt (Beryl) and a large number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Majors Barry & Donna Anstey will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in King’s Point on Sunday, August 23, 2015. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery in King’s Point. Pallbearers are her friends Jean Fudge, Nicole Newbury, Suzanne Thomas, Judy Fudge, Bessie Budgell and sister-in-law Delores Foster. Honorary pallbearer is special friend Doris Huxter. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
