Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Uriah Sutton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: David Newell
Condolence: There are often people you meet in life who make an indelible mark on who you are, or who you wish to become. For me, Hughie was one of those people. Through our Masonic and Scouting friendship, he was always positive, endearing and helpful. Hughie had a tactful way of presenting an opposing view - a view that was usually the right one. He was kind, fair and supportive...a man many of us wish to be. To his family, my sincerest condolences. He was a great, great man, who left this world a better place because he was here. Face the gale.

Condolence From: Hughie Butt
Condolence: I had the great honour of meeting Hughie only recently and was impressed with his commitment to being a member of the masonic fraternity and with his zest for life. Remarkably, we not only shared the same name and love of freemasonry but also shared the same month and day of birth, October 25th. To know that he also passed on October 25th after a long and rewarding life makes this all the more remarkable. My sincerest condolences on his passing.

Condolence: Tom, Sonia & Floyd, our deepest sympathy to you and your families. Hughie was a wonderful man who was well known and very well thought of in his community and by any he met. Many stories were always told when he would visit with us and my father, his cousin Tom Sutton. He will be dearly missed by all. Take care during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with. God Bless.

Condolence: To Hughie's family: I had the privilege of serving with Hughie on the Interfaith Cemetery Committee for several years. It was during this time that I came to know him as a fair, kind-hearted gentleman who was interested in serving his community. He will be missed.

Condolence: Dear Tom and family, I'm so sorry to here of Sams passing.
Although we only met a few times over the years, my late wife Wendy(Newell) and I always made a point of seeing Sam and Ruby whenever they would come up to Toronto to visit. They were both wonderful people. (And they always seemed to be on the way to somewhere in the world.)

Condolence: Floyd,
I send you and all your family my sincere condolences on the passing of your father. I have wonderful memories of both your parents during my teaching days at Lincoln Road Elementary where your mother was on the teaching staff and you were in my class. In fact I happened to be in Grand Falls when your mother turned 90 and I paid her a visit during her birthday celebration. You were blessed with two loving parents and I am sure you are very thankful for their long lives. May their legacy of love continue to guide you. My husband joins me in this expression of sympathy. Blessings on you all.
