It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lawrence (Loggy) James Penton announce his passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on November 10, 2015 at the age of 78 years. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents and wife Ethel Penton; daughter, Mary Penton. Left mourn with fond and loving memories are his sons Fredrick (Elizabeth), Leo (Hazel), Lawrence, Gerald (Peggy), Scott (Sherri), daughters Marie, Debbie (Paul) Shultz, Elizabeth, Susan, (Harold) Curtis, Colleen, Ruby (Dean) Brake,special friend Christopher Ross . Also left to mourn are his grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters and brothers, a very large circle of family and friends.Lawrence was a very hard worker; he spent most of his life as a school bus driver with the Grand Falls-Windsor district school broad. Lawrence on his time off enjoyed the great outdoors spending many weekends at his cabin with friends and family. Father Eugene Morris will conduct the service at the Bishop's Falls Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bishop's Falls. Pallbearers are sons: Fredrick Penton, Gerald Penton, Larry Penton, Scott Penton, grandsons: Stephen Penton and Christopher Ross. Honorary pallbearers are son , Leo Penton and Andre Whelan.
