Christmas Slippers

Heather had knitted me a pair of slippers when we worked together and I loved them so much that I had her do 3 more pairs so I could give them as Christmas gifts. The slippers were a big hit, mainly because they reminded me so much of the slippers that I received from my Grandmother every year for Christmas. I moved to an apartment in January, the January after Heather passed, Heather and I became close and I loved her like a sister. It really bothered me that I couldn't find the slippers. Life moves on and I soon forgot about the slippers but not about Heather. She was like a ray of sunshine. Always smiling, and she always made me see several sides to the story. I moved again in August, the house I rented was sold. While I was unpacking one day, I came across the slippers that Heather made for me. I also have a scarf that she made for me as well. I cried like a baby. I miss Heather. I moved to the East end of Hamilton and that is were Heather and Paul lived and every time I go out and go to the center mall, I feel Heather with me. I have heard her, I swear that I have seen her and I certainly miss her. I know that Paul and family feel the same. God Bless them. My continued condolences and prayers for all. Love and Blessings. Nancy
