RONALD JAMES GILLARD
1940 – 2015
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald James Gillard announce his passing at his home in Harry’s Harbour on December 14, 2015 at the age of 75. Ronald was a member of the Harry’s Harbour Fire Dept. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward Gillard and Nellie Bowers; and his brother Gerald Gillard. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Barb Gillard of 28 years and their son Benjamin Gillard of Harry’s Harbour. Also leaving to mourn are his sister Jesse (Lloyd) Stuckless; brother, Francis (Fronnie) Gillard; friends, Roy Harnett and Frank King; nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of other friends and family. Majors Barry & Donna Anstey will conduct the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on Friday, December 18, 2015. Interment will be at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Harry’s Harbour. Pallbearers are David Gillard, Tony Gillard, Jimmy Gillard, Paul Gillard, Dale Verge and Junior England. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
