ALFREDA FRANCIS STONE
1928 – 2016
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfreda Francis Stone announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on January 6, 2016 at the age of 87. Alfreda was a member of the Grace United Church. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Stone; father Arthur Folkes; mother Elizabeth Folkes and her sister Pearl Bowers. Left with fond and loving memories is her sons-Robert Stone (Joyce) of Beachside, Jim Stone (Maxine) of Baie Verte and Brian Stone (Rhonda) of Corner Brook; daughters-Mae Coombs of Springdale and Adeline Hinks (Jerome) of Beachside. Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren, greatgrandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends. Rev. Wilson Gonese will conduct the funeral service from the Grace United Church in Springdale on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2:30 pm. Interment will be at the United Church Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers are Peter Stone, Corey Stone, Wesley Stone, Kurt Coombs, Jason Hinks, Robbie Stone and Nathan Stone. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
