THEODORE SAMUEL OXFORD
1939 – 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Theodore Samuel Oxford announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on March 9, 2016 at the age of 76. Ted was a member of the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle. He retired from Department of National Defense with transportation. He was predeceased by his parents Cecil & Arlene Oxford; brother Clyde Oxford and daughter Kathy Oxford. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Lucy Oxford; sons-David Oxford (Rhonda) of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Derek Oxford (Kelly) of Whitby, ON, Gary Oxford (Lisa) of Kitchener, ON and Rob Oxford (Krista) of Happy Valley-Goose Bay; daughters-Christine Snow (Dale) of Deer Lake and Karen Oxford of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn are his sister Betty; brothers-Conrad and Harry; grandchildren-Angie, Damian, Corey, David, Josh, Samantha, Christopher, Bradley, Braxton, Kyla; great grandchildren-Taylor, Hannah, Nathan, Logan and Makayla. Pastor James Lander will conduct the funeral service from the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Beachside on Saturday, March 12 at 2:00pm. Interment will be at the Beachside Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers are his sons-David, Derek, Gary, Rob and brothers-Conrad and Harry. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
