Nan your sudden passing has been overwhelming. 

I have wonderful memories of many sleepovers growing up, of you making homemade mac & cheese, throwing milk in only to remember my milk allergy after and you'd make another trip to the grocery store, buy ingredients and start again.  I remember decorating Christmas trees with you and Pop at your house, second Christmas stockings filled by you and Pop at New Year's and phone calls from you after you had cleaned your cupboards asking if I'd like items for which you no longer had room (family members tell me I have your "cleanliness gene" and it's a gene I hold dearly to my heart!) Pop told Mom that one day she'd visit only to find him pinned on the clothesline by his toes :)

Countless, lovely memories have crowded my mind in the past few days.

I am so very thankful for the time spent together this past summer and especially for our last phone chat the evening of your passing.  You will forever be in my heart and never forgotten.
