Condolence From: Mike & Joy Power
Condolence: To Scott ,Josette,Jackie, Jennifer and all your families- we were both very saddened when I read of Jo's passing in today's telegram. Your mom and dad and myself and Joy go back many years . With the exception of Scott I don't know if you remember who we are , but we remember all of you .

Your mom was indeed a very beautiful person both inside and out . We have fond memories both in the cabin and the Chalet which came after . Your mom and dad loved a good time but their first love was their children, when we shared their company at Badger Lake.

All of you are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time in your lives .

Your mom is now with the love of her life , your father Des.
May they now rekindle their love they had for one another and look out for you and yours from the heavens above.

God Bless and be assured your mom is now at rest, RIP Jo.

Condolence From: Elsie Greene and family’s
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the Kenny family in the loss of their dear Mother, “Jo” as we all knew her.
She and her husband Des were good friends and neighbors when we lived on Birch Street, 1962 to 1972 when my husband was posted with the CIBC Bank in Grand falls. Our children went to school with mine and enjoyed many a birthday party together. And the grown ups had a great many awesome parties together at the curling club and each other’s houses. I look back and find those 10 years in Newfoundland were some of the best in my family’s lives. Jo was a lovely lady and a joy to be considered her friend! She will be sadly missed by her many friends and especially her children and their families. Thoughts and prayers are going your way from a friend in Nova Scotia.
