WILLIE GARLAND BRIDGER
1934 – 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Willie Garland Bridger announce his passing in Springdale on May 23, 2018 at the age of 84. Willie was a member of the Salvation Army Triton-Brighton Corps. He retired from Marine Construction in 2001. Willie was predeceased by his wife Yvonne; parents, Dexter & Bertha and brothers-Otto and Raymond. Left with fond and loving memories are his sons-Darrell (Ruby) of Brighton, Darren of Brighton, Dexter (Cheryl) of Leduc, AB; daughters-Elaine (Tom Murray) of Brighton, Wanda of Triton, Catherine of Triton and Sharon (Dennis Sheppard) of Calgary, AB. Also leaving to mourn are his sisters-Linda (Roderick) Winsor, Doreen (Ross) Winsor, Verna, Marion, Faye (Pat) Williams; brothers-Bruce, Orv, Howard (Daphne) and Charles (Deborah); grandchildren-Robert Murray, Tyler Murray, Nadine Roberts, Deidre Roberts, David Bridger, Julia Bridger, Noelle Bridger, Jonathan Sheppard, Jill Sheppard, Jeffrey Sheppard and Riley Bridger. Majors Bill & Trixie Kean will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Triton on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Brighton Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
