It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stella Mable Sampson announce her passing at her home in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on June 19, 2018, at the age of 90. Stella is predeceased by her husband, William Edward Sampson, and son, Joseph Terrance Sampson. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons, Roy Sampson (Irene) of Ottawa, ON, and Dennis Sampson of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, daughters, Dorothy Barker (Robert) of Kitchener, ON, Diane Rice (Ronald) of Calgary, AB, Marilyn Sampson (Dennis Walsh) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Joy Newman (Ronald) of Boyd's Cove, NL. Also leaving to mourn are her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and brother, William Warford. Visitation will be held at the Central Funeral Homes Chapel in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. Rev. Robin Trevors will conduct the funeral service at the Central Funeral Homes Chapel in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
