It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Penton announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, on July 12, 2004 at the age of 62. Raymond retired from Exploits Valley School Board. Predeceased by father John Penton and mother Annie; brothers Fred and Leo. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Doris; brothers Bill (Colleen) of Ontario; George (Bonnie) of Toronto; Joe (Theresa) of Ottawa; Don (Joan) of Corner Brook; Lawrence (Ethel) of Bishop's Falls; Harold (Bonnie) of Bishop's Falls; Richard of Bishop's Falls; Ronald of Bishop's Falls; sisters Mary (Leonard Ryan) of Ontario; Julie Sutherland of Bishop's Falls; Theresa (Bill Hannon) of Ontario; Alice Penton of Bishop's Falls. Also leaving to mourn many relatives and friends. Father Linus Coady conducted the funeral service at the Sacred Heart Parish in Bishop's Falls, on July 15, 2004. Interment was at Roman Catholic Cemetery in Bishop's Falls. Pallbearers were Harold Penton, Don Penton, Chris Penton, Leo Penton, John Ryan, and Dave Collins. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
