OLIVE ALVINE RODRIGUE
1937 – 2011


It is with great sadness that the family of the late Olive Rodrigue announces her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on February 9, 2011 at the age of 73. Olive was a member of the Springdale Pentecostal Church, WM Ladies and Widows Caring and Sharing. Olive retired from her own business, Springtex Fabrics. Predeceased by husband, Emilien in 1993; parents, Harland & Daisy Taylor; sisters, Marjorie, Genetta and Leona; brother, Calvin and sister-in-law, Grace. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Pierre (Carolyn) of Lloydminster and Andre (Iona) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren: Kailyn, Samantha, Abigail, Lee and Hope; sisters: Rose (Gordon), Alma (Ivan), Maisie (Hubert), Ada (Donald); brothers: Cyril, Clayton (Elsie), Bruce (Vera), Ford (Trudy), Dawson (Ruth) and Derrick (Brenda); sister-in-law Gloria; brothers-in-law Freeman(Jean) and Lloyd as well as a wide circle of family and friends. Pastor Lindsey Foster conducted the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on February 13, 2011. Interment was at the Springdale Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clayton Taylor, Bruce Taylor, Ford Taylor, Dawson Taylor, Derrick Taylor and Ivan Pittman.
