My fondest memories are whenever my Uncle Mike was around and the silly things he would say and the stunts he would pull; I enjoyed every minute of it. We would hunt and fish together on many occasions. The last time I hunted with Uncle Mike was in 1998 when my son was only 18 months old. My father, Uncle Mike and my brother-in-law, Jason, were able to down 2 moose in one day.
He tried to teach me guitar when I was younger and I was the worst student he ever had.
Uncle Mike was the first person I would come to see whenever I came back home. He was like a second father to me. I will miss him dearly and I regret not coming home more often.
I always looked up to him; he was so smart and I always listened to what he had to say. I miss him as much as I miss my father, but I can't tell him that (his head is big enough).
With loving thoughts,
John.
