Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ruby Hewlett can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

RUBY VIOLA HEWLETT
1930 – 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruby Hewlett announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale on February 18, 2015 at the age of 85. Ruby was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in South Brook. She had her own grocery store along with a pool hall. Ruby was predeceased by her parents Herbert & Violet Morey; sons Ralph and Leonard; 3 brothers and 1 brother-in-law. Left with fond and loving memories is her husband Alex Hewlett; Sons-Bruce (Bernice), Albert (Sher) and Checo; Daughters-Violet and Masie (Bob). Also leaving to mourn are 3 Sisters- Annie, Grace and Nealie; 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Pastor Kerry Northcotte will conduct the funeral service from the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in South Brook on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery in South Brook. Pallbearers are Christine Hewlett (Granddaughter), Angela Strickland (Granddaughter), Blossom McKay (Granddaughter), Checo Hewlett (Grandson), Todd Hewlett (Grandson), Rickey McKay (Great Grandson), Nicholas Snow (Great Grandson). Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
