Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Roberts can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

JOSEPH JOHN (JACK) ROBERTS
1925 – 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph John (Jack) Roberts announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale on November 5, 2015 at the age of 89. Jack retired from Fishery Products International in 1986. He was predeceased by his parents-Delbert & Emily Roberts; his brother Ralph Roberts and his sisters-Clarissa Davis and Flossie Oxford. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Ethel; son Wilbert Roberts (Fern) of Pilley’s Island and daughters-Clarrissia Anthony (Gerald) of Pilley’s Island, Bina Winsor (Larry) of Triton, Brynhild Roberts (Mike) of Kingston, ON, Elaine Roberts (Dom) of Scarborough, ON, and Roma Walsh (Ambrose) of Airdrie, AB. Also leaving to mourn are his brother Gordon Roberts (Rosetta); sisters-Grace Hancock, Thelma Furey, Jessie Roberts (Reg), Nellie Batstone and Jeanette Taylor; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Major Lindsay Oxford will conduct the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on Monday, November 9, 2015. Interment will be at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Pilley’s Island. Pallbearers are Gordon Roberts (brother), Wilbert Roberts (son), Larry Winsor (son-in-law), Bradley Anthony (grandson), Paul Anthony (grandson) and Brandon Roberts (grandson). Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
