My father, Beaton Smith, had a long friendship with your Dad Joe and and your Mom Matilda and with your brother Bob.So here we are in 2015 releasing another family member, your husband Herb .Time generally takes old friends one by one until all are gone . Yet, it is the spirit and memories that live on and in that sense I can visualize your father and your mother in our home with the Pinsent's ,the Barry's , Roy Hillier and Daisy,and Uncle Art Hillier and his wife Ivy ( Pomeroy )Hillier, my mother's sister etc. swapping a tale or two ,having a scuff and a bowl of soap .These are memories that will last forever in my mind and will rival any French Order of Good Cheer .Hardworking people seeking a bit of a respite before a new week of work would start .And now each has gone to a place of eternal rest .May your husband also find such peace .Our deepest condolences to you and your family .
