RONALD GEORGE HAYWARD
1926 – 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald George Hayward announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on December 24, 2015 at the age of 89. Ron was a member of the Salvation Army Church. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas & Bessie Hayward; his sister Hazel Murrin and his brother Wallace Hayward. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Norma Kay Hayward; sons-Paul Hayward of St. John’s and Dwayne Hayward of Springdale; daughters-Lynn Normore (Rennie) of Springdale and Lana Hayward-King (Paul) of Conception Bay South. Also leaving to mourn are her granddaughters-Tia Normore (Roy Oake), Madeline Hayward; great grandchildren-Reggie Oake, Harlow Oake; sister-in-law Glenna Richards (Roy) and brothers-in-law Colin Knight (Brenda Bailey) and Lorne Knight (Sandra) and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Captains Ken & Elsie Brown will conduct the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on Monday, December 28, 2015. Interment will be at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers are Paul Hayward, Dwayne Hayward, Rennie Normore, Paul King, Lloyd Hibbs and Travis Richards.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
