Obituary for Mervyn Sean Russell
Sean M. Russell passed away suddenly and unexpectedly the morning of Thursday June 29th 2017. He was born the 16th of December 1963 in St. John’s NL to proud parents Carol (Johnson) and Mervin Russell.
His life and time with us will be cherished and remembered by the love of his life; Sherry, his adoring children Jeremy and Megan Russell, his brother, Liam and extended family members, and a wide array of friends in which his life has brought happiness to for many years.
Sean had spend the majority of his life dedicated to raising his family with the intention of coming back home to Newfoundland where his heart never left. He spent the majority of his life working in radio, and achieved many milestones in his career. He gave his life to his family whether it was 6am hockey practices, or late night conversations; Sean was always there. He was a passionate man and spread his love of all things to those around him including music, sports, and being in the great outdoors. His passion was infectious and uplifting and for this he will be so deeply missed.
A time of remembrance will be held for family and friends of Sean at his home in Robert’s Arm
