Obituary for Alex Ronald Vincent

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alex Ronald Vincent announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale at the age of 82 years. Alex was a member of Salvation Army Church Groups in Triton and the Royal Canadian Legion Springdale,NL. Alex retired from Abitibi Price Paper Company in Grand FAlls-Windsor, NL. Predeceased by wife Elsie, Brother Bramwell, Parents Norman and Janet. Left with fond and loving memories are Son- Roy(Golda)of Labrador City,NL.Daughter-Trixie Blackmore(Bill) of Labrador City,NL. Also leaving to mourn Brothers- Otto(Celia), Harvey(Shirley)and Gordon )Philis). Grand Children-Jason, Janice, Shelly and Sheldon. Great Grend Children- Andrew, Amy, Leium and Emma. Major Rex Colbourne conducted the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citidel, Triton on August 22,2004. Interment was at the Triton Interfaith cemetery. Pallbearers were Nephews-Jim Vincent, Corvin Vincent, Con Vincent, Prat Vincent, Travis Vincent and Grand Child-Sheldon Blackmore. Funeral arrangments were intrusted to Ken Goodyear and Maude Dormody of Central Funeral Homes Ltd. 57 Little Bay Road, Springdale NL.
