ALFRED MURLOCK BUTTON
1930 – 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfred Button announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on October 24, 2019 at the age of 89. Alfred was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Alfred retired from Toronto Board of Education. He was predeceased by his late wife Annie Button and daughter Norma MacInnis. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Dorothy Button of Springdale and son Terry (Sandra) of Sarnia, Ontario. Also leaving to mourn is his son-in-law Neil MacInnis; stepson, Justin Gillard; grandchildren – Lorna Button, Christine Button, Lindsay MacInnis, David MacInnis and Charlee Gillard. Major Joshua Randell will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:30 pm. Pallbearers are Terry Button, Justin Gillard, Charlee Gillard, Cyril Roberts, Shawn Weir and Grant Boyde. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
