Just heard of your dear mother's passing. You had a very special person for a mom. When you were in grade five, Everett, it was my first year of teaching. You told me one day your mother had fried 167 caplin for the family's dinner. I kept that close to me as each of you grew up where I knew you when I moved to high school. You were all lighthouses of hers. Smiling, friendly and showing a real Christian spirit to others. That was her. God bless her and give her peace.

To all the members of the Anstey family: The Promotion to Glory of your mother/grandmother was a day that she looked forward to because of her faith in God. We rejoice in the many years of life she was given and you will certainly miss her presence in your lives. My thoughts and prayers are with you all but especially with my sister-in-law, Bernice. May you all sense God's presence around you giving you comfort as you journey through this time of grief together. "God IS our refuge and strength" (Psalm 46:1).
