JOHN FRANCIS CURRAN
1943 – 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Francis Curran announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on June 6, 2020 at the age of 76. John retired from Newfoundland School District as an Electrician. He was predeceased by his parents William & Mary (nee Power) Curran; his son Bill, his brother Doc and his granddaughter Chantelle. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Elsie Curran of St. Patrick’s; sons, Rick (Lisa) of St. Patrick’s and Dave (Lucy) also of St. Patrick’s; daughters, Susan (Dwight) of Springdale and Debbie (Steve) of St. Patrick’s. Also leaving to mourn are his grandchildren, Andrew (Kelsey), Jessica (Brian), Patrick, Christina (Josh) and Noah; his sister Maude, great grandson Beckett and sister-in-law Amy Curran. Father Tom Duffenais will conduct the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on Monday, June 8 at11:00 am. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery in St. Patrick’s. Pallbearers are Andrew, Patrick, Noah, Steve, Rick and Paul. Honorary pallbearer will be his sister Maude Dormody. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
