It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leonard Roberts announce his passing at the Springdale Hospital on June 3, 2003 at the age of 58. Leonard was a member of the Salvation Army Church and retired from fishing. Predeceased by mother and father - Stafford and Nellie Roberts. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Una Roberts; sons Jamie of Burlington Ontario, and Jason (Darla) of Victoria BC; daughters Loriann (Andre) of South Brook, and Andrea (Clint) of Snow Lake Manitoba. Also leaving to mourn is brother Allister, and sisters Marion, Primrose, Maxine, Doreen, Cynthia, and Carolann. Capt Rex Colbourne conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church on June 06, 2003. Interment was at the Triton Interfaith cemetery. Pallbearers were Glen Roberts, Bramwell Roberts, Aubrey Roberts, Robert Roberts, Guy Winsor, and Ernest Winsor. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Shawn Tizzard and Maude Dormody of Central Funeral Homes.
