LESTER EUGENE BURTON
1929 – 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lester Eugene Burton announce his passing at his home in Robert’s Arm on December 4, 2019 at the age of 90. Lester was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was predeceased by his father, Herbert Burton; mother, Florence Burton and grandson David Taylor. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Betty; sons-Perry (Trudy) of FlinFlon, Manitoba, Tony (Phronie) of Little Springdale, Curtis (Juanita) of Thompson, Manitoba, Lester (Arlene) of Kitchener, Ontario, Munn (Kellie) of Fort McMurray, Alberta; daughters-Cindy (Edsel) of Springdale and Henrietta (Rocky) of Robert’s Arm. Also leaving to mourn are his brother Malcolm Burton; sister Ida Hewlett; grandchildren-Leslie (Eric), Danny, Tyler, Scott, Mark, Jennifer (Brent), Tim (Marilee), Jordan (Abby), Jessica (Dean), Cody (Kelsey), Ryan, Alex and Jay; great grandchildren-Olivia, Milan, Wesley, Levi, Emily, Anna, Deklen, Taylor, Olivia, Aurora, Penelope, Owen, Eric, Hunter and Jacob. Pastor Kerry Northcotte will conduct the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in South Brook on Sunday, December 8 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery in South Brook. Pallbearers are Tony Burton (son), Munn Burton (son), Curtis Burton (son), Cody Winsor (grandson), Lester Burton (son), Ryan Winsor (grandson). Honorary pallbearer will be Jessica Burton (granddaughter). Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
