Louise Ivy Sweeney

1933-2011

It is with great sorrow and fond memories that the family of the late Louise Sweeney announces her unexpected passing at the Health Science Complex on January 19th, 2011. Louise loved life to the fullest, especially spending it with her devoted husband Frank, who predeceased her in December, 2010. A very thoughtful and considerate person, she always put others ahead of herself. A tireless individual, whether helping Frank with his business endeavours, raising her family, boating, enjoying time at the cabin or the motor home, her love of music and spending time with her grandchildren, she put all of her energies into ensuring everyone was welcome and looked after. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Louise Poole, step sister Marie Keats,
brother Ernest Poole as well as her Uncle William and Aunt Veronica Sharron, with whom she resided and played a large role during her childhood.
Left with fond and loving memories are her four children: David (Joanne) Topsail, Margo (Ron Cashin) St. John’s, Paul (Susan), and Keith (Lynn) of Grand Falls-Windsor.
Also leaving to mourn, Grand Children: Danny, Mark, Tyler, Katherine, Peter, Kevin, Thomas, Michael, and Taylor, as well as her cousin Joe Sharron of Point Leamington, whom she considered a brother, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pallbearers were, David Sweeney, Keith Sweeney, Danny Sweeney, Kevin Cashin, Paul Sweeney, Ron Cashin, Mark Cashin, Peter Sweeney. Honorary Pallbears, Tom Sweeney, Derick Sharron, Joseph Sharron and Leo Sweeney.
