1942 - 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patricia Arnold announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on March 24, 2019, at the age of 76. Patricia is predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Bridget, brothers, Raymond, Francis, and Thomas, and sisters, Joan and Mary. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her twin sister, Ellen, brothers, Edward (Carolyn) and Douglas (Gail), sister-in-law, Violet (Thomas), and a large circle of nieces and nephews who will remember her lovingly simply as “Aunt Pats”. There will be a public visitation held at Central Funeral Homes Chapel in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A private family service will take place at a later date. Even though “Aunt Pats” never had any children of her own, she always doted on her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, therefore, collectively they are her honorary pallbearers. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.

So Sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I have many fond memories of seeing Pat when I would visit my Dad at his office. Pat was my father's secretary and I can still picture her sitting behind her desk with her light blue cardigan on. My Dad thought a lot of Pat, I'm sure they are catching up on all the news.

So sorry to hear about Pats. Condolences to Nell, Doug and Ned and all the Arnold families. Looking at the lovely selection of photos you choose brought back so many fond memories. Having grown up in the same neighbourhood, I remember tobogganing on Arnold's Hill, sometimes going up and over the track. I also remember having a few run ins with your goose! Hope your fond memories will help you in the difficult days ahead. RIP, Pats.

Please accept my sincere condolences on Pat's passing. She was a friend of mine for over 50 years and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her and her sisters at their home on Circular Road. Since moving to Calgary I would phone her from time to time and catch up on what was going in her life and the town. I will miss her very much on my visits back home in the Summers. Rest peacefully my friend, free from pain and again reunited with your parents and siblings. Patricia Healey, Calgary
