ROSE OLIVE SLADE
1941 – 2016
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rose Olive Slade announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on July 25, 2016 at the age of 75. Rosie was a member of the Salvation Army, Springdale. She was predeceased by her parents-Hayward & Effie Rideout and sons-Clay and Shawn Slade. Left with fond and loving memories is her husband Lester; sons-Barry (Tamer) of Thompson, Man, Roger (Velma) of Springdale, Robert (Darla) of Edmonton, AB, Kevin (Patricia) of Lloydminster, AB; daughters-Donna (Kevin) of Gander, Vera (Wade) of Kitchener, ON, Tina (Shawn) of Lloydminster, AB and Janet (Lionel) of Victoria, BC. Also leaving to mourn are her sisters and brothers; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as a large circle of family and friends. Major Gerald Lacey along with Pastor Norman Slade will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Slade, Fred Rideout, Kevin Barrett, Justin Barrett, Shawn Hurley and Ross Burton. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
