Obituary for Scott Parsons
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Scott Parsons, announce his passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on April 16, 2022 at the age of 74.
Despite having a straight leg, Scott was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and on quad. There was no way a straight leg could keep him from doing the things he enjoyed. He had a love for playing the guitar, especially in the church. Over the years, he installed many furnaces or repaired a friend's snow blower, or snowmobile or anything else someone asked him to fix.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Joan and 3 sons, Trace (Kyla), Rocky, Jody (Kelly) and his daughter Connie (Darrell). His 3 grandchildren; Brandon, Cody & Rebecca gave him much enjoyment and love along with his 4 great-grandchildren; Bentley, Haylee, Joey and Charlie. Also leaving to mourn is a wide circle of family and friends.
While Scott will be dearly missed by all who knew him, he would want everyone to know that he was more than prepared and eager to meet his Lord and Savior.
Pastor Brushett will conduct the funeral service at the Word of Life Tabernacle in Roberts Arm on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Roberts Arm.
Pallbearers are Ron Young, Derrick Hicks, Bob Peddle, Clar Short, Wilson Butt and Leander Hewlett.
Singing will be done by Sandra Peddle, and she will be playing Scott's guitar, also singing will be Trixie Ryan.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ryan Peddle of Central Funeral Homes.
