October 12, 1936 – March 12, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Helene Winslow announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on March 12, 2015 at the age of 78. Helene was a member of the Catholic Women’s League. She was predeceased by parents, Rhoda and William Morris; husband, Bob; brothers, Ralph, Jim, Aiden, and Stan. Left with fond and loving memories are son, Allan of Moncton, NB and daughter, Maureen (Kerry) of Ottawa, ON. Also leaving to mourn are her sisters, Catherine, Gert, and Margaret; brother, Kevin; grandsons, Mackenzie and Aaron; nieces, nephews, and a large circle of family and friends.

Father Wayne Cummings conducted the funeral service at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Grand Falls-Windsor, on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery on Union Street. Pallbearers were Jim Courtney, Bob Lewis, Paul Hennessey, Gerald Murray, Leo Murphy, and John Hamilton.
