Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Margaret (Rose) Saunders can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

ROSE MARGARET SAUNDERS
1945 – 2013

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rose Saunders announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale on October 27, 2013 at the age of 68. Rose was a member of the Salvation Army Home League. Rose retired from Cape Bald Packers and custodian at Indian River High. She was predeceased by her parents, John & Blanche Campbell and her brother, Pearce Campbell. Left with fond and loving memories is her husband Rexford Saunders and her daughters: Deanna Saunders (Jeff) of Springdale, Kimberly Saunders of St. John’s, Paula Burton (Ivan) of Windsor, ON and Sue Budgell (Dean) of Cappele, NB. Also leaving to mourn her three sisters - Pauline Anthony of Marathon, On., Phyllis Colbourne (Morris) of Deer Lake and Kathy Perry (Earl) of Burlington; Grandchildren - Timothy, Jaden, April & Dontai; Sisters-in-law - Patricia Campbell of Robert’s Arm and Lovelett Borden (George) of Dartmouth; nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Majors Colin & Jacqueline Abbott conducted the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on October 31, 2013. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers were Jeff Saunders, Earl Perry, Morris Colbourne, Vicki Sheppard, Thelma Rowsell, and Johnny Colbourne. Honorary pallbearer was Tad Perry. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
