Condolence: Sending out my condolences to my Great Aunt Ruth's family. Remarkable women! I remember over 25 years ago when she helped me get some information on Grampy Hicks at the Legion's library. A note to her son Robin.... one of the best teachers I ever had in junior high at St. Mikes. Fond memories of when you were teaching the novel Shane.
Cheers, Phil (Tina, Nicholas & Olivia)

Condolence: Cathy and family. My deepest sympathies for the passing of a wonderful Mentor and friend Ruth.
When ever I remember my time in Grand Falls/Windsor I always remember the loving compassion that radiated from your Mom. Her devotion to The Royal Canadian Legion and what it stands for was unsurpassed. He support for the Ladie's Auxiliary and anything to do with Branch 12 will forever be remembered. I often remember the times in the Kitchen of Branch 12 preparing a turkey or roast beef dinner for a function. Ruth would be a staple there. The laugh's we all would have. I enjoyed the stories your mom would share about the early days of he service. She will forever be held close to my heart.
It was said by a very wise person once that "To leave a lasting memory of one's legacy of Love and compassion is to live life to the fullest" Never one to look for recognition for all the work she done, Ruth just did what she did. It needed to be done and she was able to do it. Do it well she did. God Bless you Ruth May you Rest in Peace. Thank you for your unconditional love and compassion. It made a diffrence.

Condolence: Dear Scott cousins, We offer our sympathies at this very sad time. You will be sharing many happy memories of your dear Mom. Aunt Ruth was always full of vigor and intensely proud of her family and community. She was a generous, strong and independent lady - ahead of her time. I always loved her beautifully coiffed red hair and her hearty laugh. She will be missed. Love to you all, Ann, Peter, Kate, Jim, Alex, Sam, Dan
