ALFRED STANLEY MILLEY
1928 – 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfred Stanley Milley announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 89 yrs., 10 mths. Alfred was a Veteran and a Legion member. He attended the Salvation Army Citadel in King’s Point. Alfred retired from Denison Mines in Elliot Lake, Ontario where he was a Heavy Duty Mechanic. He was predeceased by his wife Cora Burt Milley. Left with fond and loving memories is his son Dawson (Renee) of Triton and daughters-Claudine (Fred) of King’s Point, Barbara (Harley) of McBride, BC and Deborah (Wintworth) of Winnipeg, Man. Also leaving to mourn are 3 brothers, 1 sister, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Available for last respects on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 1to 4. For family from 7 to 9 pm. Major Lindsay Oxford will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in King’s Point on Wednesday, January 10 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery in King’s Point. Pallbearers are Dawson Milley, Devon Milley, Fred Wells, Dudley Burt, Wallace Burt, Ashley Gagne and Bradley Burt. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
