A wonderful Man!

Growing up in Grand Falls, I was always welcomed at the Caravan house and spent a lot of time there. When Bob and I were teenagers, Mr. Caravan always wondered why the car was always empty of gas. He was always generous in providing Bob and I his filled up car so we could go driving for hours and hours around town and the surrounding towns. He donated his Dodge Monaco to Debby and I so we could have a beautiful wedding vehicle when we were married in 1975. Bob was a great chauffeur too! In later years, Mr. and Mrs. Dos Caravan always greeted us from their front Step when Deb and I were out for a walk on Lincoln Road. We always hoped they were out so we could get the latest on their three children who had moved away from home. It was very obvious how much they loved and enjoyed talking about their children. Finally, we will always remember and miss that big greeting and smile we always got from Mr. Caravan when we returned to Grand Falls/Windsor and went to Sunday Services at Memorial United Church. Rest in Peace to a wonderful man and our sincere condolences to the Caravan Family.
