When we were all kids, Aunt Mamie loved to squeeze our cheeks and with a big laugh called us jellybird as she hugged and kissed us. It could be annoying at the time when we were kids but in later years when she still called us "jellybird" we knew it was with lots of love and affection and we gladly welcome her endearing term for us all.
